We unite unlikely allies across the fashion ecosystem—from influencers, creatives and brand executives, to unions, legislators, and garment workers—locking arms to fight for change. FabScrap: FABSCRAP was created to meet New York City’s commercial textile recycling needs. Materials that traditionally would have gone to landfill are now being properly recycled and made available for reuse. You can donate old clothing to this organization as well as donate your time. If you live in NYC or the surrounding area, they are always looking for more people to help out !
Parley.tv: Their mission is to rapidly transform human-made materials and systems to work in harmony with the ecosystem of nature, and to inspire and empower more impactful participation in the environmental cause. Combining science, art, fashion, design, technology, finance, entertainment, sport, space and ocean exploration, we address today’s biggest ocean threats, challenge the status quo and invite everyone to own their role in the solutions.
DirectRelief: Direct Relief exists for the simple, humanitarian purpose of helping people whose health and lives are threatened by poverty, endemic diseases, natural disasters, or civil conflict — and thanks entirely to the generosity of individuals, foundations, and businesses.
